<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />December 16, 1963 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in-regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call; Present - Messrs Wedlei7, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None: <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 18, 1963, were then <br />read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler,Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan-& Belzer. <br />Nays - Noneo , <br />Motion carried <br />' Minutes Approved. <br />Mayor Endress then asked for reports f rom the various couunittees. There <br />was nothing to report from the Architectural Board, the Welf are Committee, or <br />the Cemetery Committee, <br />Mr.'Belzer, reporting f or the Safety and Service Committee, said that <br />the Committee suggested an Ordinance to cover all aprons from sidewalk to <br />street curbs in'new developments, all must be a minimum of ten f eet in width <br />at the sidewalk and must be a mittimum of two feet wider on each side of the <br />apron at the curb than at the sidewalk. Also, all sidewalks and aprons must <br />be finished in any new developments before street can become dedicated. There <br />was some discussion on this ordinance in Council and Mr. Peterson talked of <br />the Bedford Heights ordinance with ref erence to brealcing up of the sidewalks. <br />Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then introduced Ordinance No. 825 <br />entitled; "An Ordinance to AmendiSection 6 of Ordinance No. 468 as Amended by <br />Ordinance Noo 566, Relating to Improvement of Streets", which ordinance was <br />read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrso Wedler,Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloa? & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ' <br />Motion carried <br />Ru1es Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Ordinance No. <br />825 be approved and passed as read. <br />' Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler;Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />1.
