It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that Resolution <br />No. 587 be approved and passed as sead. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler,Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />' Nays - None. <br />Motion casried <br />Resolution.Passed <br /> <br />Mr. Mason then spoke of an Ordinance for Building Fees and remarlced <br />that they had one from South Euclid which is in the courts and should be <br />decided in early Spring. This ordinance was on admission fees, however, and <br />not building fees, Mr. Mason then took up the Building fees and said that the <br />Finance Cbmmittee felt that the building f ees were on the low side and after <br />a survey completed by Mr. Wieland and previously distributed to Counci3, the <br />Finance Committee recommended changes in the fees. Mr. Masdn read these changes <br />to Counci:l. Mr. Shaca, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced Ordinance No. 826, <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Prescribing Permit Fees f or the Construction, Alteration, <br />Addition to; Improvement, Demolition and Removal of Buildings and Parts Thereof <br />Within the Village,of Mayf ield and Repealing All Ordinances and Parts of Ordinances <br />as'are Inconsistent Therewith", which ordinance was read to Council.. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw•, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. - <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It wa.s moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that Ordinance No, 826 <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />_ Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler,Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan & B'el.zer. <br />Nays - Noneo Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />' Mr. Sloanthen remarked that he had an old book at home on the affairs of the <br />Village.and read some interestidg paragraphs from this book. <br />Mr. Bennett, reporting for the Buildittg Committee, said that they had <br />been f orced to purchase a new hot water tank for the basement. <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from Chief Shortlep stating the <br />Patrolman, Ronald A. P£ygo, had served his six months probationery period and <br />had exerted much effort towards his position as patrolman and that Mr. Prygo , <br />had completed a 174 hour police course at the Law Medicine Center and enclosed <br />a letter confirming?his outstanding achievements. Mayor Endress then appointed <br />Nir, Ronald A. Prygo as a regular patrolman. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Mason, that this appointment <br />be confirmed. <br />3.
