? <br />J <br />Minutes of the Regular D7eeting <br />,February 17, 1964 <br />The Council of the Village of Niayfield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Itoll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Bennett9 Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None. . <br />The Mittutes o£,the Regular Nieeting of January 20, 1964,: were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Niason,Sloan & Belzer., <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motiori carried <br />Minutes Passed <br />Mr.. Sloan, reporting f or the Architectural Board, said that they had <br />two meetings, one on the 23rd of January, 1964, approving a residence.at 762 <br />Oakwood Drive and another meeting.on Fe.bruary 13, 1964, approving two plans. <br />There was no meeting of the Welfare Committee, however, Mr.Walker said that <br />they had a.letter from the Commutlity Club saying that they were not undertalcing <br />the summer club f or 1964, so that .there would be.no need to inake an appro- <br />priation for this activity. They hope to resume next year. <br />. There was nothing to report from the Building Committee. <br />Mr. Belzer then reported that the Safety and Service Committee had met <br />on February.2nd, 1964. Mr. Shortle reported at this meeting that there were <br />no new developments on the Freeway and also sta-ted that the lights at the <br />High School had been installed. Mr. Wieland reported that his new truck , <br />had not been delivered as yet; he said that:he was supposed to pick it up <br />Saturday, Mr, Wieland said that he had ehe.clced up.on the rubbish.after <br />numerous complaints and that the last two pick-ups were pretty good, Mr. <br />Wieland said that he had been asked to checlc with other communities on <br />collections, but had nothing as yet. Mr. Porter reported that the Fire <br />Department:needed a new purnp - that it was desperately needed for the:Spring <br />rains.
