<br />It was moved•by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ord.inance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />> <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />. It was moved by r1r, Belzer, seconded by Mr-._ Mason, that Ordinan.ce No. <br />843 be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Glalker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br /> <br />Niotion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress_then•took up the matter of,the paving of Ridgebury _,. <br />Boulevard by the County. He said that the County had presented an agreement for <br />the work on.Ridgebury. Mr. Edelman then read this agreement to Council. It <br />was a].so reported that Niayf ield Heights was going to lay a water main along <br />this street at a cost of $24,000,00 and we could cut into the main by paying <br />a proportionate share. Mr. Edelman then read a letter f rom Lyndhurst on this <br />matter, asking that a clause be inserted in the agreement that when the County <br />calls_f or money that.they be given time to get it assessed, Mr. Edelman said <br />that he had written a letter to all the Solicitors sugoesting that when the <br />contracts are let, the insurance be in favor of the village f or any liability; <br />that it,should be written into the insurance policies that the Villages are <br />additional insurers. Niayor Endress said that we should hold up on this enterprise until we <br />find out something about the sewers, Mr. Edelman said that he would have a <br />meeting with the Law Directors and possibly the.Mayors and see what they conie <br />up with: <br />? <br />It was then moved by Tir. Sloan, seconded by y1r. Belzer, that Agr. Edelman <br />be authorized to cvork this matter out. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None, Motion carried <br />ivIayor Endress then asked the Finance Committee to get out something <br />on our two bond issue6 that would come up in the May 5th, 1964, election. <br />Mayor Endress then read reports from the various departments to Council. <br />Mr. Wallcer, reporting for the Cemetery Committee, said that they had <br />talked last Fall of changing the amount assessed to each municipality, but on <br />further discussion had decided that they would not increase the amount each <br />municipality would have to pay, but each would be invoiced for $300.00. Mr. <br />tiJallcer said that they-.had discussed building a chain linlc fence around three <br />5.
