Mr. Shaw then reporied that there had been some discussion in the Past <br />on our property damage and liability insurance ?on our fleet of motor vehicles. <br />Iqr. Shaw said that this was on a three year basis and as this was the,last <br />year the Finance Commit'tee recommended that the insurance premium for'this <br />year be paid. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. AZason, that this bill <br />be paid. _ <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,T4ason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ; <br />` Motion `carried <br />Mr. Shaw then reported that we had received our money f rom the County <br />for the last half tax collection and that the Committee recommended that we <br />give Mr. Edelman some money for thetrials he had been conducting. Mr. Shaw said <br />the Committee recommended that at least half his bill be paid. Mr. Shaw said <br />that the Committee also recommended that the needed hose for the Fire Department <br />be purchased at this time. <br />It was then moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. r4ason, that the Fire <br />Department be aathorized to purchase f ire hose in the amount discussed with the <br />Safety and Service Committee, <br />Roll Gall: Ayes -,Nlessrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor,Endress,then reportecl that -he had a letter f rom the County Auditor <br />saying that certain lands in.our,village had Ueen'rezoned and that he would - <br />like a map of this area so that he could make adjustments on the 8uplicate. <br />Mayor Endress then asiced if it would be a7.1 right for our Engineer to write <br />u.p a map and.give ii: to Mr. Perk. It was then moved by Mr. Niason, seconded <br />by Mr..Sloan, that.our Zoning Map be brought up to date. ' <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />. Mayor Endress then brought up the matter of the widenittg of SOyi Road <br />North of our Village and the f act that it was to be narrowed down at White <br />Road. Mayor Endress said that he had to].d the state that cae would not be <br />i_nterested if there was any expense to moving utmlities. The state said <br />that there would be no expense; that they would assume any expensee Mayor <br />Endress said.that as far as we are concerned, he did not like this, but the <br />road was going to cut down somewhere and it would be better to narrow after <br />White Road. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then introduced Ordinance No. 843, <br />entitled; "An Emergency Ordinance in the r4atter of the'Hereinafter Described <br />Improyement Under the Supervis?on of the Director of Highways", which ordinance ¦ <br />was read to Council. <br />4.
