Mr. Nlason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then intro-duced a P,esolution to <br />instruct the Building Inspector to approve plans for the State Highway Buildings <br />on the basis of a stockade fence to be erected along their southerly Iine,•which <br />resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of law <br />requiring a resolutiott to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett,Wallcer,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />r4otion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the resolution <br />be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Calle Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Aiason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />• ' i•lotion carried <br />Resolution'Passed <br />Mr. Mason, reporting for the Planning and Zoning Commission, read the <br />Minutes of their April 13, 1964,ineeting to Council. Mr. Nlasoti then amplified <br />the results.of their meeting Taith Mr. Kaplan on their proposed construction plans <br />f or Aintree Park Subdivision. Mr. Peterson was asked about his statement that <br />the existing sewer would take 100 units. He was asked what happened after that. <br />Mr. Pete'rson.said that it was so long ago that he forgot what he decided; -that <br />Mr. DeMore, their Engineer, was going to do some uiore work and bring the plans <br />back for the next meeting. - Mr. Peterson was then asked to ascertain the'size,of the pipe under <br />Wilson Mills Road. Mr. Edelman said that the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and the Building Inspector must approve plans f or this and should not give <br />approval until this is straighi:ened out. `This was corrected to-the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission and Council. Mayor Endress then asked Mr. Peterson to <br />work along with Mr. DeNIore and see if they could not work out something. Mr. <br />Edelman said that.we should f ind out how much is invoZved and see what we could <br />do after that. <br />Mr. Shaw, reporting f or'the Finance CommitLee, said that they.found all <br />the bills in order and =ecommended that the pay ordinance be approved. At th.is - <br />point, Mr. Bennett toolc issue with Council over the f act that we were paying'the <br />Quigley bill for rubbish and garbage despite the f act that it had not been <br />piclced up on SOM Road from his home south. There was some discussion in Council <br />on this matter. It was decided that Mr. Edelman was to write the Quig_ley people <br />and toarn them that any further failures of this sort would force the Village <br />to reduce their Uill in proportion to the area involved. Air. Shaw, seconded by NIr. Mason, then introduced Pay Ordinance No. 488-P, <br />which ordinance was read to Council. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Niessrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />IQays - None.
