The Commission, theref ore, recommended that proposed ordinance No. 841 be not passed. This report was then f iled with Council. Mr. Edelman then reported that there was-a petition on f ile and, there£ore, under provisions of our zoning ordinance, Council mnst vote on•the ordinance one way or the other; that Council has to hold a public hearing and then vote on the ord.inance and that to pass this ordinance over the disapproval of the Zoning and Planning Commission, Council has to have f ive votese • Ordinance No. 841 was then read to Council and was then placed upon its second reading. - ' Council then set July 13, 1964 at 8:00 P. M. at the Town Hall as a meeting date f or their regular July meeting. It was then moved bq Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that July 6, 1964, at the Town Hall be set f or a hearing on the Ordinance No. 841, at 8 o4clock P. M.'at Mayf.isld Ceater School, 6625 Wilson Mills Road. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker,I Mason, Sloan and Belzer. Nays - None. Motion carried Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then intr-aduced Rasolntion No. 601 entitled; "A Resolution to Cancel the Water Main Assessment f or the Tax Years 1964 to 1967 on Permanent Parcel No. 831-32-2 on T.ander Road,'° which resolutioa was read to Council. It was moved bq Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of law reqairing a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett,k7alker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. - Motion carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mre Belzer, that Resolution No. .
