<br />Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />June 15, 1964 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />. Absent -None. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of May 18, 1964, were then read to <br />Council. It was moved by Mro Mason, seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the Minutes <br />of the regular meating be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Shaw,Bennett,Wallcer,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />PSinutes approved <br />Nr. Sloan made a report on the activities of the Architectural Board, <br />read their minutes to Council and said that they had a-busy month. <br />There was nothing to report from the Building Committee. <br />r1r. Belzer, repo.rting for the Safety and Service Committee,, reported <br />on their meeting of June 1, 1964.. Mr. Wieland stated that he had seven circles <br />to mow and asked f or a heavy mower to handle this caork. This would cost around <br />$200000. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that this purchase <br />be approved. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett,Walker,Mason,Sloan & Belzsr. <br />Nays - None. <br />. Motion carried <br />Fire Chief Porter reported that he was waiting f or results from an <br />inspection of our Fire Equipment and then complained about,the cost of the <br />sidewalks on Wilson Mills Road. Our Engineer and Mr. Edelman gave a breakdown <br />on this,. the additional cost-over the bid f igure covering inspection and <br />engineering costs. There caas also some discussion of some of the work not <br />being completely satisfactory and Couttcil told Mr. Porter that these were bond <br />provisions covering this and: it would be taken care of. °. . <br />Mr. Walker reporting f or the Welf are Committee said that they did not <br />accomplish much with the bus schedule, that they had a meeting with Highland <br />Heights and did get some time knoclced off the downtown trip; that as f or <br />transEers and getting down-town, he thought that this was more a matter of <br />people getting used to the schedule. Mr. Walker said that he would follow <br />up this matter. <br />1.
