Mayor Endress then brought up the matter of buying riot equipment for <br />the Police Department. Mra Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced a <br />resolution authorizing the Police Department to purchase riot equipment. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of <br />law r:equiring a resolution to'be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />' Nays - None. - Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mrm Shaw, that the Resolution <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Be'nnett, Walker,-Mason, Sloan & Belzere <br />Nays - None. <br />- Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mayor Endress then discussed with Council the second phase of the <br />contract f or a Master Plan f or the Village. There was a great deal of <br />discussion in Council on`this matter as to what we were to reeeive and f or <br />how much. This was due to the fact that we ran into additional expenses on <br />the first phase that were not anticipated. Mayor Endress said that there <br />would be no additional expenses to this second phase and said that there <br />was still so much to do that it would be unthinkable not to complete the <br />thing. Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, introduced Resolution Noo 621, <br />entitled; "A Resolution'Committing Funds f or the Second Phase of a <br />Comprehensive Planning Program, as Required by the State of Ohio, Department <br />of Industrial and Economic Development" <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of law <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett,Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzero <br />Nays - None. <br />• Niotion carried <br />Rules,Suspended <br />It was moved by Nir. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the Resolution <br />be approved and passed as` read. R611 Call,: Ayes - r4essrs Shaw, Bennett; Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belze,ra <br />Nays - None.
