Mayor Endress then brought up the matter of buying riot equipment for the Police Department. Mra Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced a resolution authorizing the Police Department to purchase riot equipment. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of law r:equiring a resolution to'be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. ' Nays - None. - Motion carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mrm Shaw, that the Resolution be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Be'nnett, Walker,-Mason, Sloan & Belzere Nays - None. - Motion carried Resolution Passed Mayor Endress then discussed with Council the second phase of the contract f or a Master Plan f or the Village. There was a great deal of discussion in Council on`this matter as to what we were to reeeive and f or how much. This was due to the fact that we ran into additional expenses on the first phase that were not anticipated. Mayor Endress said that there would be no additional expenses to this second phase and said that there was still so much to do that it would be unthinkable not to complete the thing. Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, introduced Resolution Noo 621, entitled; "A Resolution'Committing Funds f or the Second Phase of a Comprehensive Planning Program, as Required by the State of Ohio, Department of Industrial and Economic Development" It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett,Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzero Nays - None. • Niotion carried Rules,Suspended It was moved by Nir.
