<br />Ordinance 79-4, entitled: "AN EMERGENCE"-'ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />ACQUISITION FROM HOBART HOMES, INC. OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON S.O.M. CENTER <br />ROAD: AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF LITIGATION", was introduced by <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Discussion was -held on the agreement. <br />Mrs. Han.us;.seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring fay. ordinance to' be read on three separate o"ccasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />.. j <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to pass~Ordinance 79-4. <br />Mr. Grogan stated that in the transfer of this property -the, seller pays <br />the costs - in the transfer of the Dixon property, she only pays the taxes. <br />Roll Call: "AYES:. All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />~O~dinance Passed <br />Mr. Relic stated that he would be out of town after February 5th and the <br />monies, to purchase these properties woi~ald be put in escrow. <br />Permit Fee Increase - Still under study by the Finance Committee. . <br />GENERAL COMMENTS- <br />Building Department - Mr. Amendola, on behalf of the Service Department, <br />• thanked Council for the purchase of properties to house the new service <br />buildings. <br />Mr. Bennett thanked Council for trier unanimous vote re the acquisition: of <br />the properties. -" <br />Mr. Flynn"commended Mr. Bennett for".undertaking such a large. work. load for <br />the Finance Committee.. -~ <br />Mayor Beebe stated tpi."at Ij.e had pffered the .position of representative to <br />MARC and serving as a member of the Recreation Board to Miss Carol Trask <br />who is giving it consideration. He would also appreciate Council giving <br />thought to presenting a Resolution of Appreciati"on t6 Joyce Barclay for <br />doing an outstanding job on the Recreation.Bo~rd.~ .._ <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a.motion to present a Resolution <br />of Appreciation 'to Joyce Barclay. ~ , ' <br />Roll Call: AYES: A1T <br />NAYS:.
