Mr. Avery to .prepare the Resolution. Mayor Beebe thanked Council. Meeting went into an Executive Session at 10:35 P.M. Meeting reconvened 'at 10:55' P.M. ~ ~' Mr. Grogan left at this time.. Mayor Beebe recommended the.r,eappointment of Guerin Avery as Village Law Director for the year 1979 with a 5/ increase in all aspects of his con- tract. Council agreed ao vote, on. the_mat.ter by title .only..-. , .. Ordinance 79-6, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE APPOINT- MEN'~ OF A'LAW DIRECTOR AND AUTHORIZING.. A. CONTRACT FOR HI5 SERVICES"; was introduced by Mr. Bennett.. Mr. Flynn, seconded~by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to ~s~.uspen~.dthe.crules6of +~awt~e~xuir~g an ordinance to be read on three separate occasion. Roll C~11: AYES:' All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to pass Ordinance 79-6 by title only. Council as a Whole requested that t$e ~L.aw Dir.ect.or draw up the., .ne.ces-sorry legislation allowing the Village to purchase 27 fe.e.t of Joseph Palermo's property for a depth fo 350••feet.on the northside.of his property for 'the amount of $6,500.00 and to also allow, the Village ~o~~~irche.ae the back 1 acre of property for~the•amourit of $8,500.00, if Palermo will agree. The Village would then allow-Joseph Palermo to purchase the Village property that consists of a~house .and 1 acre_of-property for the amount of $65,000.00.
