The Council of the Village of .Mayfield met in Special Session on,_Tuesday, January,30, 1979~at 8:23 P.M. in .the Village Hall. Pr-esident, Vince Busa pre:~.i sided. Roll Calls; Members Present: Messrs„ Bennett, Busa-, Flynn and Mrs. Hanus • Absent: Messrs., Grogan, Boger and Bordonaro Also Present: Messrs. , Amendola, F.enel.i., Hovancsek and Mr. `.~-li . Relic Mr. Busa stated that he had waited..23.minutes anticipating the arrival of Mr .' Grogan so there would be a quorum. Since it is apparent he is .not coming,, did Council wish to adjourn the meeting. Discussion was held with Mr. Fenili stating that the Council members present had the authority to act on certain matters as long as. no emergency legislation was considered. Assistant Law Director's Contract - Discussion was held with regard to giving Mr: Feudo a raise. Mr. Bennett stated'that Mr..Feudo had indicated. to him that what ever raise was given to the Law Director would be satis- factory with him to receive thessalme. Mr.~Bennett°seconded by-Mrs. Hanus, made a_m,otion to authorize a five percent (5/) increase in Mr. Feudo's present contract in all aspects. Mr. Relic suggested the-5/-be aaomputed to the roundest G.ollar of the next , higher .amount. - . _ - ~ - _ Roll Call: AYES: All ~ ~ - NAYS: .None Motion Carried Law Director to prepare the legislation. CQDIFICATION OF ORDINANCES - Mr. Bennett stated that even though 1~.e was act- ing without the other members of his committee, he wot~u.ld~like to recommend •that the Walter Drane Company be awarded the contract. - He further explained their metho6. of billing. The date of the. contract is for February 8, 1979. He would like to make a suggestion that instead of the up-dating dnding with- December 1, -1978 that it ~.nelude~ •the month of~,; Pxe~;~~~~°,rr: Dicua.ssion was. held with Counci'1 agreeing with the terms as explained,by Mr. Bennett.. Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to accept the contractc~of. the .Walter Drane Company for the up-dating of the Codified Ordinances for :~~1,770.00 plus. ariy charges f.or the printing of'new pages covering the month of December, 1978.
