~. Mayor.Beebe urged approval~of this contract as enough time has been wasted. Mr. Amendola expressed some confusion that sections of the code re the Building and Zoning changes weren't going to be codified. Mr. Fenili explained that these changes would have to be put before the _ people whicYi means .the ~ codification wouldn't _be until 19'81.. : , Further discussion was held with Mr. Busa suggesting that a continuous codification system be considered. Mr. Amendola asked. if the proposed changes to the Building and Zoning Code could be put in book form for 'reference until they could be codified. Mr. Bennett stated that the Committee asigned to review the Zoning changes could make their recommendations for changes and submit them to the Law Director .for his review .and approval and thew, documented. Mr.~Feneli stated that the Law DeT,~ar'tm~;nt would be making a formal proposal to Council .to -do this work. Public Officials Insurance - Mr. Bennett stated that the present coverage is ,costing $_1,;926_.00 annually and, the. ,policy expires in June.; Mr`. They did have the option of joining the National League of Cities for a membership fee of $700.00 and then buying into their policy, for. $11,000.,00. .~ _ .. .
