~~ <br />Mr. Relic asked if any more discussion was held on the 1979 Budget? Mr.r- <br />Bennett replied their only question was the amount of monies to be allotted <br />for the new abulance. Mr. Relic stated that rather than having the '79 <br />Budget subjected to rejection he would like the ambulance not be a part of <br />the Budget and monies could be appropriated at a later date. Mr. Flynn <br />agreed as long as it would be done this year. <br />Discussion was held with Mr. Bennett stating the Budget would be ready for <br />approval at the March Meeting. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned a letter received from Mr. Stackhouse regarding the <br />poor copy. Mayor Beebe stated that the original was so poor that his <br />secretary had questioned its being reproduc.'i~~~~.. ,Letter to be retyped <br />and circulated.' <br />Mr. Flynn reported that the subjects discussed at the Safety Meeting would <br />be finalized at their next meeting on February 13th. <br />Mayor Beebe commented on the Jacees Awards Night held on January 23rd. <br />Don Stevens, Chief of Police, was selected by the Mayor as the most outstanding <br />Police Officer because he has gone from Patrolman to Chief in just for short <br />years. Chief Stevens attended, along with his wife, and was presented with <br />a plaque.
