~~ MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Village of Mayfield . March 19, 1979 The Council fo the Village fo Mayf-field met in regular session on Monday, March 19, 1979 at 8:10 P.M. in the.Village Hall. Council President, Vince Busa presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the `lag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn Grogan and Mrs. Hanus Absent: Mr. Boger Also Present Were: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola~,'.. Avery, Feneli, Foltz, Hovancsek, Relic, Chief Hc.jel and Chief Stevens OPEN PORTION' Mr. Albert Judge, 1577 Parker Drive, Ma~Tfield Heights, Ohio, former mayor in the 20's, 30's and 40's and presently Program Chairman of the Mayfield Township Historical Society. He stated. that he was at the meeting to incite the Mayor and Cour_cil to do him a bid favor and attend the Historical Society's November 14th meeting. Photos will be taken to go into their history books. With Councils permission, the meeting will be held in the Village Hall at 8:00 P.M. A formal letter of invitation will be forthcomri~ng. Council and .Mayor Beebe agreed. There being no further ..comments, that portion fo the meeting ,closed. MAJOR"'.S~;COMMENTS: Mayor Beebe stated that it Police Department with the bring the Department up to tow men were selected, out were reviewed by himself, Friday evening. is a happy event with the expansion to the addition of two more Patrolmen which will what it was four years ago - 13 men. Sulli~ran Mayor Beebe asked Chief Stevens to issue their clothing allowance checks that are ready for they. Mayor Beebe stated that Douglas Sullivan has his required 300 hours in and will be on the road soon, John Delvillan will be finished before long. Both have had Police work experience.
