~~.~ The Finance Committee has decided to hold meetings on a regular basis-. in.Mr. Relic's office on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. I t is•not necessary for the Department Heads fib.. attend.'Phe~ next meeting will be May •1, 1979. - . The Mayor questioned the need for any more discussion-on the 24-Hour Dispatching. Mr. Busa urged the Committee to. make their recommendation soon. - Mr. .Bennett questioned-when rent would stabt on the•Myotte house? Discussion was heed, with the_.Law.Department to prepare a memorandum .for Friday's mail. Mr. Busa asked Mr. .Feneli what the status is on the acquis~~t~ion and selling, of the properties involved for the settling of the law suit ahd for the new S ervi.ce Building: ~ - - - Mr. Feneli commented it should be finalized soon. Mr. Busa commented that.it seems to be taking boo much time. -- Public Safety. - Mr. Flynn tl~.anked the Civil Service Commission • for ~ their efforts in the addition of the new Fireman and Pol•icemEn. He commented Mr: Henwoods recent appointment to the Commis-siom.may-be the fac~r~r in the .efficiency of the .Commission. He asked Mayor :and C-ouncil to consider - a resolution of appreciation to the .Volunteer Firemen. Public Service/Public Utilities - Mr. Flynn-stated .that he and,Mr. - Amendola had worked together Sunday to solve a resedents se~e~ problem.. The contractor came .out .today and discovered the .problem .which was •a damaged line which happened at the time a new residents line had. been _ - installed. Architectural~Review Board -.Mr. Amendol'a said the next .meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, April 19th. • s Cemetery .- Mr. Bordon:aro stated •the_ maintenance. equipment was. being serviced.. in lieu of ,the up coming summer.. Council of Councils - No Report • Planning & Zoning - Mrs. Hanus stated that•tYi.e Commission recommended Counnil give approval of the finallGite plans for the Beta Office Building. Mr: Amendola clarified that according to ordinance, Council has to approve any building on Beta ,Drive,.• , Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mrs. H anus,~made a motion .to approve the Final Site Plan for the Beta Cuff;-ice;.Building of Julius Par•is.• • Mr-~.
