<br />Mr. Bordonav~o commented the Village is ready for 24-hou.r dispatching. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested the ordinance be put on first reading until a <br />meeting could be arrane~ed. <br />Mayor Beebe urged Council to consider the ordinance. now and any questions <br />will be answered by Chief Stevens and he could relate "them to the <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Relic commented that tl~Qir is always problems and stumbling blocks <br />to these matters but nothing that can't be solved. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bordona~%o, made ~a motion to pass ordinance 79-23. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Beebe expressed his appreciation for the passage of this legisla- <br />ton. <br />Mrs, Hanus said she also was thankful that the VillageY•s would no have <br />24-hour coverage. <br />Ordinance 79,-24, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />TO A & S ENTERPRFISES AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE RE-STRIPPING <br />OF DESIGNATED STREETS IN HAYFIELD VILLAGE." Introdu;~ed by Council as <br />a Whole. <br />Mr. Bordonaro questioned the amount of monies spent last year and Mr. <br />Amendola stated it was around $6,000.00 but did not include as much <br />striping that the present job calls for costing $7,159.00. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to suspend the .rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES : Al l <br />NAYS: None - Motion C-arried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger made a mbtion to pass Ordinance <br />79-24. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All NAOtion Carried <br />NAYS: None <br />Ordinance Passed <br />
