Feneli to give the oath of office to: Susan Kennedy ~~ Trish I~i.Donato Robert Bandelow ' Mayor~Beebe announced that a Special Meeting had been held to. appoint Mr. Beatty as Finance Director and-asked him to .come forward. and take an oath of off~:ce. Mayor Beebe announced the 5ervice.Department Employees have formed a soft ball team and chal~:enges the newspaper to a game. PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL'S COMMENTS Mr. Busa had no comments. STANDARD COMMITTEE REPORTS Budget/Appropriations - Mr. Bennett welcomed Mr. Beatty on behat~.f of the Finance Committee. Public Service. and Public Utilities -Public Safety -'Architectural Review Board - Council of.Couricils: No Report Cemetery - Miss Trask stated that Margaret Riedel had briefed herself and another new Trustee on the general duties of serving the Cemetery Trustee- ship.' Mrs: Riedel had to balance the books after Mr. Bordonaro's retire- ment and will be acting treasurer. They changed their liabfility:insurance firm due to a lrswer cost for the policy. Arrangements are being made for the new members to meet with. Mr. ,Krause who's in charge of the°main- tenance of the cemetery.. Planning & Zoning - Mr: Amendola informed Council that Mr. Schmidt, of the Mayfield Racquet Club on. Beta .Drive will be submitting new site plans for that location (rezoning request) as their workshop meeting. Recrea.~ion - MARC -Miss Trask reported that-the Committee had met last Wednesday and decided'Awards Day .would be on July 29th. If rained out, it would change to .August 5th. Trophys will be given.. Joyce Etzler will be submitting names .tb the Mayor for appointment. to~the Recreation C~ Committee. She stated that the Committee had requested she report on the rocks that a%e man the ball diamond and~ask that it be dragged. Mr. Amendola stated that~his men had'dragged the field but the children run over it which. gives it.the~appearane that it hasn~'.t been done.
