~~ <br />Resolution 79-47 given Second Reading. <br />NEW BUSINESS- -, ~ . <br />' Village Seal - Mayor Beebe said he had done some research and apparently <br />the Village had none a:ther that the Cleric of Council's and his. He would <br />order one. <br />Highland Heights Resolution 75-79, entitled; "AN RESOLUTION OPPOSING ENACT- <br />MENT OF PROPOSED SECTION 1901.025 OF THE REVISED CODE, PROVIDING FOR <br />DISTRIBUTION OF THE`OPERATING COSTS OF MUNICIPAL COURTS." <br />Discussion was held on the subject re the Village's actual responsibility <br />of paying for the staffing of the Lyndhurst Court when they would have no <br />control over the actual hiring or firing of the personnel. <br />Chief Stevens suggested that an investigation be made of feasibility of a <br />waiver session being establised in the Village. It was determined that the <br />present staff in the Police Department were qualified and Chief Stevens is <br />to pursue the matter. <br />Ordinance 79-58, entitled: 'SAN ORDINANCE ESTABLISING THE POSITION OF <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY BY THE ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 138 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCESw" Introduced by Mayor Beebe. <br />Ordinance 79-58 given First Reading. <br />Ordinance 79-59, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDIIVTA~TCE CONSENTING TO 000PER- <br />ATE WITH CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO AND THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN <br />THE REPLACEMENT OF STANDARD CURB INLET GRATES ON WILSON MILLS ROAD FROM THE <br />HAYFIELD `TILLAGE EASTERN CORPORATION LINE TO SOM CENTER ROAD." Introduced <br />by Council as a Whole. <br />Discussion was held on the safety of the existing grates in re to cyclists <br />tires going into the grates.
