~ .~ <br />Ordinance 79-51 ,- entitled: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO TELERAMA, ZNC., AN <br />OHIO CORPORATION, A FRANCHISE TO 'ERECT,' MAINTAIN, AND OPERATE IN, UNDER, <br />ABOVE, ALONG, ACROSS AND UPON THE STREETS, LANES, AVENUES,.SIDEWALKS, ALLEYS, <br />.BRIDGES, AND HIGHWAYS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES IN THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />OHIO AND SUBSEQUENT ADDITIONS THERETO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF~TRANSMISSION.AND <br />DISTRIBUTION OF TEEEVISION SIGNALS TO ENABLE S:Y~LE"OF THEIR SERVICES TO THE <br />INHABITANTS OF SAID VILLAGE, FOR A PERIOD OF FIFTEEN (15) YEARS, AND <br />REGULATING THE SAME." Introduced by Mr. Boger <br />Discu'ssiori was held on the pros and cons of cabel~T.V, in reference to cost <br />to the Village,•convenience, soliciting, standards of equipment etc. It <br />was decided that the Public Service/Public Utilities Committee to give the <br />matter..further review with copies of contracts and ordinances of otl2er <br />communities be secured for study. " <br />Ordinance 79-51 tabled until Committee reports. <br />Ordinance 79-45, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REGULATING EMISSIONS >> <br />FROM-INCINERATORS; PROVIDING PENALITIES FOR ILLEGAL OR IMPROPER EMMISSIONS; <br />AUTHORIZING COOPERATION WITH THE OHIO ENV,IROMENTAL>PROTECTION AGENCY AND <br />ITS ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES." Introduced by Mr. Bennett <br />Mr. Boger questioned if it relates to residential or business.. <br />M•r. Avery clarified that it pertains to commercial/industrial. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to ans.pende the rules of <br />law 'requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. . <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass Ordinance 79-~5. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Resoli~.tion 79-48, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION ENCOURAGING AND <br />AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS WITH CEI FOR STREET LIGHTING ON A JOINT BASIS WITH <br />OTHER MUNICIPALITIES; APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE NEGOTIATI-1~G TEAM; AND <br />SUPPORTING THE CONCEPT OF POOLED PURCHASING."
