i~~ <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Clerk to advertise for bids on the 20th and .27th with a Special Meeting <br />to be held on October 8, 1979 at 8:00 P®M. to award the contract. <br />Bike Path - Mayor Beebe stated that nothing had progressed. MrQ. Hovancsek <br />had submitted an estimated cost of $38,000 if Village does the work. If <br />no asphalt is used, just gravel, it will cost in the neighborhood of <br />$10,000. He would like to see a sidewalk in the Clear .Acres Park by next <br />year before the baseball season starts. Mr. Amendola suggested a cross- <br />over point to be at the light at Highland Road. <br />Ordinance 79-58, _entitled: 'dAN ORDINZ~iCE ESTABLI`':HING THE POSITION OF <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC-.SAEETY BY THE ADOPTION OF CHAPTER:~138 OF--THE CODIFIED <br />ORDI:NANCES:." Introduced by Mayor Beebe. <br />Given Second Reading. <br /> <br />Resolution 79-47, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OPPOSING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS <br />IN HOUSE BILL 182 IN POLICE AND FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND RESULTING IN AN <br />INCREASED COST TO MUNICIPALITIES WIT HOUT CONSENT OF SUCH MUNICIPALITIES." <br />Introduced by Mr. Boger. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to pass Resolution <br />79-47. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Boger, Miss Trask <br />NAYS: Mrs. Hanus and Mr. Flynn Motion`Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Special Use Permit - Ken's Auto Service - Mr. Bennett sari?d he would be <br />having a meeting with them soon. <br />Meadowood Easement Sewer Work - Mr. Hovancsek stated that bids are due this <br />Friday. <br />Wildwood Trail Entrance - S/l, S/2 and S/3 - Mr. Amendola stated that <br />he had spoken to Mr. Caplan and as soon as Phase II is approved, some <br />work would be done on these lots. <br />Council discussed the matter and Mr. Busa stated that no approval would <br />be given for Phase II or III until this landscaping work is done. <br />Mr. Grogan to be alternate Council representative to the Planning and <br />Aoning Commission when Mrs. Hanus is out of town. <br />Council amended the agenda to include the following: <br />
