9, ~ ~ 2 <br />in the meeting to discuss procurement of additional police cars. <br />Public Safety - Mr. Flynn reported the committee had met with Police <br />and Fire Departments on November 17th to discuss items that these <br />departments will be needing. Council had received copies of minutes ' <br />of this meeting. <br />Public Service and Public Utilities - Mr. Flynn stated that Mr. Amendola <br />is doing a fine job with the new service building. Wilson Mills is <br />progressing with some of the sewer work completed. <br />Mr. Buses asked Mr. Amendola to give a report of the building. <br />Mr. Amendola stated that the Salt Shed and Toilet Facilities are almost <br />'~/.complete and the Service Building is all under roof with the con- <br />.:rete floors being poured. The road pattern should be formed by the <br />end of the week. They are presently using propane gas. to heat with <br />although it hasn't been too cold. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported that there was no <br />meeting because no drawings had been submitted. <br />Council of Councils - Mrs. Hanus. stated that the business meeting was <br />very short because the guest speaker apparently forgot about the meeting. <br />Tt adjourned at 8:30 PM. Mr. Grogan stated that the president of Council <br />of Councils was not re-elected to Council. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mrs. Hanus reported on the Special Meeting o ' <br />October 23rd which involved the construction of a basement for a <br />at the Peterson residence. Mr. Amendola was to have visited the site <br />again and contact Mr. Feneli . <br />Mr. Feneli stated that Mr. Peterson. had written him stating that he <br />would be taking more time to think the matter over. He is trying to <br />expand a non-conforming use. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated that the Meeting of November 13th entailed discussion <br />of the water course trlrough the Whitehaven Cemetery for the Aintree North <br />Phase II and III. An easement had been granted. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola informed Council that a meeting would <br />be held on November 20, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. The set-back distance for <br />the second phase of Hanover Woods is up for consideration. <br />Recreation/MARC - Mr. Bennett mentioned that the dues of $100.00 'is up <br />for consideration (MARL membership). <br />Heinen's - Mr :'Amendola-reported that Mr. Bennett, Mr. Boger, Mayor Beebe <br />and himself attended~tfie opening ceremonies on November 7th. The Fence <br />matter is'beirig resolved to everyone's satisfaction. Didn't feel there <br />is any further need for this committee. <br />Discussion was held with the committee to be eliminated from future <br />agendas. <br />Mro Hentiett compl}mented Mr: Amendola for his extra work and a job well <br />done. <br />f <br />cotta <br />
