Mr. Grogan said we should formally object <br />to this increase. , <br />Discussion was held with the Mayor to forward a letter along with a <br />copy of the following resolution of objection: <br />Resolution 79-89, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />RATE INCREASE OF THE OHIO BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY", Introduced by Mayor <br />Beebe and Council as a Whole <br />M.r Grogan, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Resolution <br />89. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Force Main Break - Mayor Beebe reported that the arrow had been removed <br />which was a nuisance to the Reverend and other adjacent property owners. <br />The problem of these lines continuing to break is still not resolved. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that the road has been completely repaired, the <br />road block is just until the road repair is cured. <br />Mr. Grogan reported that he had spoken to Ralph Crisman who was impre~ d <br />with the speed his crew completed the repair. This didn't help the see: <br />situation. <br />Police & Fire Protection - Metro Park - Mr. Feneli said he has been in ~ <br />contact with the Park's Law Director and while we are compelled to give <br />protection, we should also receive compensation. He would give the <br />matter further review. <br />Mr. Flynn asked if the Police & Fire Chiefs had any comment on the situ- <br />ation of our police off the street to protect the park. <br />Chief Stevens said the park is protected by the state law and during <br />the peak season, potential liability and risk is tripled. <br />A/C Porter commented that the Fire Department is down there a great deal <br />in the summer and it is very hard on the Department. <br />Mr. Busa called a recess at 9:05 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:25 P.M. <br />Ordinance 79-80, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE REQUEST OF ADELINE <br />KRENZLER, TRUSTEE, AND HENRY J. SCHMIDT TO REZONE THE PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 6685 BETA DRIVE, HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO FROM OFFICE-LABORATORY AND <br />RESIDENTIAL TO PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION." Given.
