~~ MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield Village January 20, 1975 The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular session at the Village Hall on Monday, January 20, 1975 at 8:00 P.M. Council President, Frank Prager presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte Absent Mr. Bennett Also present were Mayor Leech, Clerk Relic, Chief Hejc1, Chief Shortle and Gus Amendola, Building Commissioner. Mr. Prager asked for comments from the floor; however, there being none, that segment of the meeting concluded. Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 16 meeting. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager & Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Ficken, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the minutes of the Special Council Meeting on December 23. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficlcen, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager & Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Bordonaro suggested approval of. the minutes of the Organiza- tional Meeting of Council held on January 2, 1975 be deferred until corrections were made. Mayor Leech made the following comments: He advised the Village had made a land acquisition of the property behind the Arco Station and the deed had been filed. He said in regard to the newspaper article that appeared on federal funds that the Village elected not to bid. It was made lcnown to Council that the 1974 Urban Redevelopment Act to receive a share of federal funds was for general distressed economic areas. We were asked by Regional Planning if we wanted to be included and Council agreed we did not.
