~~ <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />January 20, 1975 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular <br />session at the Village Hall on Monday, January 20, 1975 at <br />8:00 P.M. Council President, Frank Prager presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and <br />Schulte <br />Absent Mr. Bennett <br />Also present were Mayor Leech, Clerk Relic, Chief Hejc1, <br />Chief Shortle and Gus Amendola, Building <br />Commissioner. <br />Mr. Prager asked for comments from the floor; however, there being <br />none, that segment of the meeting concluded. <br />Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to approve <br />the minutes of the December 16 meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Ficken, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the Special Council Meeting on December 23. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Ficlcen, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Bordonaro suggested approval of. the minutes of the Organiza- <br />tional Meeting of Council held on January 2, 1975 be deferred until <br />corrections were made. <br />Mayor Leech made the following comments: He advised the Village <br />had made a land acquisition of the property behind the Arco <br />Station and the deed had been filed. He said in regard to the <br />newspaper article that appeared on federal funds that the Village <br />elected not to bid. It was made lcnown to Council that the 1974 <br />Urban Redevelopment Act to receive a share of federal funds was <br />for general distressed economic areas. We were asked by Regional <br />Planning if we wanted to be included and Council agreed we did not. <br />
