~'i~i <br />ty ` j~ <br />_4_ <br />Mr. Prager, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 75-10. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Ficken, Mrs. <br />Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Resolution ,"WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT", is still pending. <br />Ordinance 75-9, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE NO. 960, AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 159, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 71-36 BY CHANGING <br />THE REQUIREMENTS FOR OFF-STREET PARKING OF ORDINANCE N0. 73-4". <br />This ordinance has been introduced and a Public Hearing was <br />held April 7, 1975. <br />Mr. Schulte, seconded by Mr. Ficken, made a motion to suspend <br />the rules of laws requiring an ordinance to be read on three <br />separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Ficken, Mrs. <br />Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ficken, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 75-9. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Ficken, Mrs. <br />Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 75-11, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE REQUIRE- <br />MENTS FOR THE INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF <br />SMOKE DETECTION DEVICES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", was intro- <br />duced by Mr. Barclay. <br />Mr. Prager asked for comments from the floor: Mr. Ralph Vara <br />asked why a smoke detector and not a heat detector. Mayor Leech <br />answered that during afire, more people are overcome by smoke <br />more so than the actual flames. Mr. Barclalr and Mr. Relic <br />demonstrated how the smoke detector works. <br />Mrfl Schulte, seconded by Mr. Ficken, made a motion to suspend <br />the rules of laws requiring an ordinance to be read on three <br />separate occasions. <br />
