~~ -2- Mrs. Negrelli, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 21, 1975 Regular Council Meeting. Typographical error on page 7 is to be corrected. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte NAY5: None Mayor Leech made the following comments: Motion Carried The Mayor advised the Council of the new phone numbers for the Village Hall. However, an error has been listed in the Cleveland Directory listing the Service Department as 442-2213 instead of 461-2213. The 442 number is listed to a Mrs. Rist in Mayfield Heights. He suggested that a notice be included in any future letter to the residents. He also advised that Mayfield Village is participating fully in MARC . Mayor Leech suggested approval be given for a purchase order to up-date equipment and first aid course for the Fire Department. He also recognized an anonymous donor from the Village of $100.00 for use of equipment for the' ambulance. Mayor Leech once again mentioned the "NO PARKING BAN" from 12 A.M. to 6 A.M. He also commented that plans for the first phase of the Aintree North Development are being reviewed. The Mayor advised of the Public Hearing May 29, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. which will be presented by the HUD organization with reference to Federal Flood Insurance. This hearing may have an important impact on Mayfield Villagers. Mayor Leech questioned whether or not residents of Beech Hill would approve an assessment of $1,500/lot for paving of Beech Hill. If not, the Village may be required to take action. The Mayor stated the need for a bicycle path, preferably from Wilson Mills north to Metropolitan Park. However, federal funds are not available for such a project, but advised the Service Department to check into any available means of providing a bike path. He also advised Council of the drain the work being done at the rear of the Village Hall by our own Service Department for future paving of the parking lot. The Mayor also reported that the fence between the school and the Village Hall will be eliminated and replaced with shrubbery.
