~~ <br />-2- <br />Mrs. Negrelli, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to <br />approve the minutes of the April 21, 1975 Regular Council <br />Meeting. Typographical error on page 7 is to be corrected. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAY5: None <br />Mayor Leech made the following comments: <br />Motion Carried <br />The Mayor advised the Council of the new phone numbers for <br />the Village Hall. However, an error has been listed in the <br />Cleveland Directory listing the Service Department as 442-2213 <br />instead of 461-2213. The 442 number is listed to a Mrs. Rist <br />in Mayfield Heights. He suggested that a notice be included in <br />any future letter to the residents. <br />He also advised that Mayfield Village is participating fully in <br />MARC . <br />Mayor Leech suggested approval be given for a purchase order to <br />up-date equipment and first aid course for the Fire Department. <br />He also recognized an anonymous donor from the Village of <br />$100.00 for use of equipment for the' ambulance. <br />Mayor Leech once again mentioned the "NO PARKING BAN" from <br />12 A.M. to 6 A.M. <br />He also commented that plans for the first phase of the <br />Aintree North Development are being reviewed. <br />The Mayor advised of the Public Hearing May 29, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. <br />which will be presented by the HUD organization with reference <br />to Federal Flood Insurance. This hearing may have an important <br />impact on Mayfield Villagers. <br />Mayor Leech questioned whether or not residents of Beech Hill <br />would approve an assessment of $1,500/lot for paving of Beech <br />Hill. If not, the Village may be required to take action. <br />The Mayor stated the need for a bicycle path, preferably from <br />Wilson Mills north to Metropolitan Park. However, federal funds <br />are not available for such a project, but advised the Service <br />Department to check into any available means of providing a <br />bike path. <br />He also advised Council of the drain the work being done at <br />the rear of the Village Hall by our own Service Department <br />for future paving of the parking lot. <br />The Mayor also reported that the fence between the school <br />and the Village Hall will be eliminated and replaced with <br />shrubbery. <br />
