C1 ~d <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />July 21, 1975 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular <br />session at the Village Hall on Monday, July 21, 1975 at 8:07 P.M. <br />Council. President, Frank Prager presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Ca11: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />Absent None <br />Also present were Mayor Leech, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Foltz, <br />Hovancsek, Relic and Chief Shortle <br />Mr. Prager opened the meeting by asking for comments from the <br />floor: <br />Tom Dattilo, 6706 Sandalwood Dr., complained about the overflow of <br />cars from the Spaghetti Company parking on Sandalwood. He said <br />this has become quite a problem on weekends, making it hazardous <br />for the neighborhood children riding their bikes and playing in the <br />street. Mr. Dattilo said he had talked with Chief Shortle and <br />NO PARKING SIGNS were posted. Cars illegally parked were ticketed. <br />He also stated that cars were using the school and church parking <br />lots. Mr. Prager commented that as soon as the bank is opened this <br />would allow for 30-35 additional spaces in the evening. The Mayor <br />asked Chief Shortle to check into the possibility .of a No Right Turn <br />onto Sandalwood from the parking lot. He also asked Nlr. Amendola to <br />talk to the owners of the Spaghetti Company and discuss the problem. <br />Mr. Barclay stated~Sthat the Parking Ordinance is dated from 1969 <br />and the amount of spaces allocated for each business has increased <br />considerably since that time. Ordinance is being revised and a ,, <br />public hearing on it will be held next Tuesday. <br />Robert Grogan, 480 Oakton Circle, questioned the progress of the <br />CEI case. Mayor Leech stated that the rial was held June~23, 1975 <br />and was over in three days. Briefs have been submitted by both <br />the Village and CEI. To date, no decision has been made by <br />Judge Sweeney. <br />Their being no further discussion from the floor, that segment of <br />the meeting concluded. <br />Mr. Ficken, seconded by Mrs. Schulte, made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the June 16, 1975 Regular Meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />
