Barclay, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 26, 1975 Special Meeting. Ro11 Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte NAYS: None Mayor' s Comments Motion Carried Minutes Approved The Mayor reminded Council of the RTA Special Election on Tuesday, July 22, 1975. He also stated that in past elections, Mayfield Village has had 60-75~ of registered voter participation in elections. Mayor Leech commented on his meeting with Beech Hill. residents to discuss the paving of Beech Hill. He stated he had received a petition from the residents with 11 for, 10 against and 2 un- decided. He is hoping for a definite decision by the end of summer. The Mayor also met with Kenwood homewoners to discuss repairing the road in this area.. The Mayor wished to thank Mr. LaConte of Parkview Golf Club for sponsoring the Second Annual Golf Tournament for Mayfield Village residents. Mayor Leech mentioned the Softball Game between the Sun ~vewspapers Staff and the Village Administration and employees to be played at Clear Acres Field on Sunday, July 27, 1975 at 6:30 P.Nl. The Mayor advised Council that Ohio Bell Telephone has requested permission to do some telephone burial work on Beta Drive to improve service. Mr. Prater, seconded by Mr. Ficken, made a motion to grant per- mission to OBT to proceed with work, subject to approval by Engineer Hovancsek and Building Commissioner Amendola. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay', Bennett, B1uhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried Permit granted and returned to Ohio Bell.
