~~ <br />- 3- <br />Mr. Prager commented that the reasons for the two special <br />meetings held in June was, (1) June 24th meeting, to complete <br />Levying Assessment on Echo Drive and (2) to overridge Mayor Leech's <br />veto to Ordinance 75-19 fixing compensation for Council members <br />and the Mayor. <br />OLD BUSINESS,:;, <br />Ordinance 74-42, entitled; "AUXILIARY POLICE RULES". Councilman <br />Bennett reported that this ordinance is still being reviewed. <br />Ordinance 75-16, entitled°, "OFF-STREET PARKING". Councilman <br />Barclay reported that a Public Hearing will be held July 29, 1975 <br />at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Ficken, made a motion to issue a <br />foundation permit only for Garco Building with the understanding <br />that storm sewers in Beta Drive, not limited to that parcel alone, <br />be revised per Village Engineers direction and not at any cost <br />to M ayfield Village in accordance with the Engineer's letter of <br />July 15, 1975, a copy of which should be attached to the permit. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs®, Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to issue a <br />foundation permit only for The Simon-Pick Building with the under- <br />standing that final development plans be submitted to the Planning <br />and Zoning, Architectural Review Board and Council for approval, <br />after which the developers may then apply for a building permit. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance 75-24, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. <br />309, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE TRAFFIC ON THE STREETS AND <br />PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE BY AMENDING SECTION 13 (C) <br />PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS INDICATING STEADY RED INDICATION, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", was introduced by Mr. Prager. <br />Mr. Prager suggested to Chief 5hortle that the traffic signals be <br />closely checked during the school hours. The Mayor commented that <br />the right turn on red is presently on a trial basis. <br />1 <br />
