~~ -3- Mr. Bluhm asked how did we by-pass the rules concerning compensation. Mayor Leech suggested perhaps two ordinances would be necessary, one for rules and one for compensation. Ordinance 75-27, entitled; "CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES". Ordinance was passed at the November meeting but was vetoed by the Mayor. He questioned if the ordinance was just an index or interpretation of ordinances. Mr. Prager explained that a meeting was held with Mr. Kenneweg of the Walter H. Drane Co. Mr. Byrnes would redraft the ordinance for rewording and introduce it as a new ordinance. Mr. Prager, seconded by Mr. Barclay, made a motion to reconsider Mayor Leech's veto to Ordinance 75-27. Roll Call: AYES: None NAYS: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs®, Prager and Schulte Motion Carried Veto Sustained Ordinance 75-32,.entitled; "AN ORGANIZATION PROVIDING FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND PROCEDURE OF COUNCIL, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1". Given second reading. Resolution 908, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SOM CENTER STORM RELIEF IMPROVEMENT". Mr. Relic suggested the SOM Center Storm Sewers be revised to read SOM Center Storm Relief Improvement. Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to accept the resolution as per Mr. Relic's suggested revision. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried NEW BUSINESS: Ordinance 75-34, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CLERK-TREASURER TO TAKE COMPETITIVE BIDS WITHOUT ADVERTISING FOR TRENCHING, CUTTING, GRADING AND IMPROVING THE PARKING AREA AND DRIVEWAY IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE VILLAGE HALL, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY",was introduced by Mr. Prager. Given first reading.
