~~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />March 15, 1976 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular <br />session at the Village Hall on Monday, March 15, 1976 at 8:00 P.M. <br />Council President, Robert Barclay presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flas was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Busa, Flynn, Grogan, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Mr. Schulte <br />Absent Mr. Bennett <br />Also present were Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, <br />Foltz, Hovancsek, Relic and Chief Shortle <br />Mr. Barclay opened the meeting by asking for comments from the floor: <br />There were no comments. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the February 16, 1976 meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Busa, Flynn, Grogan, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Mr. Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor's Comments: <br />The Mayor reported that he had received a report from Chief Shortle <br />pertaining to the Right Turn on Red at the Wilson Mills-SOM Center <br />intersection. In his report, Chief Shortle stated that the inter- <br />section has been watched very closely and that he had also checked <br />with the school guards and they said that there had not been any <br />problems. The Police Department will continue to watch this inter- <br />section. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that he attended a meeting with the Hillcrest <br />Area Mayor's Assoc. He said it appears we have fewer problems and <br />was learning more about what the other communities are doing. <br />The Mayor reported about the notice which appeared in the Sun Papers <br />re Flood Insurance Program. A map is located in the Village Hall <br />along with reports for viewing by residents in the. affected area. <br />Mayor Beebe advised of a report from Steve Hovancsek regarding the <br />condition of the roads in the Village for repair work. Mr. Schulte <br />stated that perhaps a report should be received from the Police <br />Department who continuously use the roads before any decision is <br />made. <br />
