~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />April 18, 1977 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular session <br />on Monday, April 18, 1977 at 7:35 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President, Robert Grogan presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to adjourn for Execu- <br />tive Session. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, <br />Grogan and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Council adjourned for Executive Session at 7:40 P.M. <br />Council reconvened at 8:10.P.M. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, <br />Flynn; Grogan, and Schulte <br />Absent None <br />Also present were Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Foltz, <br />Hovancsek, Chief Hejcl and Chief Shortle <br />Mr. Grogan asked if there were any comments from the floor: <br />George Henwood, 6482 Foxboro, questioned Council of anything was done <br />about the low water pressure in the Aintree Park area and also about <br />extending the water main down Wilson Mills to SOM Center Road. <br />Mr. Hovancsek replied that a letter had been written to the Cleveland <br />Utilities Commissioner requesting a pressure test and they advised <br />there was adequate water pressure in this area. Therefore, if the pres- <br />sure is adequate an extension of the main would not be required. He <br />also said that due to the fact that several suburban communities are <br />presently in litigation with the City of Cleveland Water Department, it <br />is difficult to get any answers. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested that perhaps businesses in the Industrial Park <br />could write letters to the Cleveland Utilities Commissioner to help <br />verify low water pressure. <br />Byron Wood, 696 Echo Drive, read a letter (copy attached) addressed to <br />the Sun Messenger regarding the Mayor's veto ofi the hiring of a full <br />time firefighter and the purchase of another fire vehicle. <br />Mr. Grogan advised this situation would be discussed later in the meet- <br />ing. <br />
