Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte NAYS: None OBSTAIN: Mr. Barclay Motion Carried Minutes Approved There was a discussion of the Special Meeting minutes of July 11, 1977 with corrections to be made. Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to tab3e the min. until Council's next regular meeting. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn and Schulte NAYS: None PASS: Mr. Grogan MAYORS COMMENTS: Motion Carried Min~:~.tes Tabled 1 Mayor Beebe commented that it was refreshing to see such a large group attending the meeting. He expressed his appreciation to Chief Shortle for his fine repre- sentation of the Village at the Memorial Services held for former Mayor, Clarence Endress. The Mayor complimented Mr. Amendola on the paint job of the Service Dep artments Building. He reported that he had received two balloon-post cards from Meadville, and unofficially the first received would most likely be the farthest traveled. Final results would be reported after Labor Day. He said he had received a letter=-from Mr. Hovancsek reporting that we are not eligible for the funds from Public Works Round II because we do not meet the required 5.5/ unemployment rate. COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS: The Mayor said he had received in today's mail, a letter from the State Liquor Control Board notification that a beer:~permit had been issued to Lawson's Milk Company, located within a few feet of the Methodist Church, although objections had been raised. Mr. Grogan reported that he had attended a public hearing at Lynd- hurst City Hall of the Regional Sewer District. It seems no one is
