He said he <br />had emphasized the problem the Village has been incurring and showed <br />them the numerous letters the Village has written in the past veri- <br />fying the problems. <br />Mr. Grogan said that vandalism had taken place at his home last week <br />while he had been on vacation and requested the residents of the <br />Village to please report any type of destruction to the police. He <br />said that the police were aware of the fact that he was going to be <br />out of town and he realized they couldn't be there all the time. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Budget/Appropriations;- Mr. Bennett said a motion to amend the Pay <br />Ordinance was to be voted on this evening. <br />Public Safety - Mr. Flynn had no report. <br />Public Service & Public Utilities- Mr. Busa had no report. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Barclay read the minutes of the <br />meeting of June 20, 1977. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Bordonaro was absent.. <br />Council of Council - Adjourned until September <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Schulte read the minutes of the July 11, <br />1977 meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Schulte had nothing to report. <br />Recreation - Mr. Bennett said that on Sunday, July 31, at 1:00 P.M. <br />at the Center School awards for Soft Ball achievements would be pre- <br />sented. <br />MARL - Mr. Grogan said a letter of resignation had been received from <br />Mr. Evans due to his not being able to attend the MARC meetings. <br />Mayor Beebe said he had received a letter of acceptance from Miss Sebra <br />Bennett as the new representative of MARC. <br />OLD BUSINESS:. <br />Ordinance 77-21, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION <br />TO THE ELECTORATE OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", introduced by Mr. Flynn, <br />was given Third Reading. ' <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to pass Ordinance 77-21. <br />Mr. Bennett commented that this Ord. would equalize the Councilmen's <br />pay, it was not a raise. <br />
