Relic said approximately $~-,000 was left for the year and they are already committed and~.:~.not adequate. He said once the $30,000 was exhausted, no money would be issued until further appropriations were made. Air. Barclav stated that in 1973 many evenings were spent on the subject of the veto power of the i~iayor for the Charter. Every member of Council took an oath to uphold the Charter and are subject to recall if they don't. Air. Flynn said Mr. Barclav served on the Charter Committee part of the time. T~Ir. Barclav stated that the Charter was 90/ complete when he left. Mr. Flynn. seconded by I~r. Busa. made a motion to adopt Resolution 996. Roll Call: AYE5: lfessrs.. Bennett. Busa.
