~.~.~ -3- Mr. Grogan announced that a Public Hearing would be held Tuesday, September 27, 1977 at 7:30 P.M. for discussion of Ordinance 77-33 entitled; "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF HAYFIELD `' VILLAGE BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY NORTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD FROM .V AN OFFICE-LABORATORY DISTRICT AND PRODUCTION-DISTR~~BUTION DISTRICT TO A CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT." Mr. Grogan also stated that at 8:30 the same evening Council would act as a Board of Appeals to take action on the variance for Heinen's. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Budget/Appropriations: No report, Mr. Bennett mentioned a meeting would be held on Wednesday, September 21, 1977 at 8:00 P.M. Public Safety: Mr. Flynn said a test would be given on October 19, 1977 for another full-time fireman. Public Service & Public Utilities: No report. Architectural Review Board: Mr. Barclay made reference to the min. of the Board's meeting of September 15, 1977 noting that the approx. value of the 15 sets of approved plans is $2,436,000.00. Cemetery: Mr. Bordonaro absent. Council of Councils: Mr. Bordonaro absent. Planning & Zoning: Mr. Schulte was absent. Mr. Grogan said the min. of the last P & Z meeting had been circulated and asked if there were any comments? Mr. Hovancsek said he had just come from a meeting with Mr. Kraus re vacation of Maplegrove and it was Mr. Kraus' desire not to jeopardize his being able to build on the lots. If this is the case then, he f° would like'•Council to defer any decision until further study could be made. Mr. Grogan said this could be taken up at the next Caucus Meeting. Board of Appeals: No report. Recreation: Mayor Beebe commented that an article had been submitted for the V.O.V. that revealed plans of a "Pumpkin Hunt," for Halloween and a visit form Santa for Chirstmas. There was no mention of the Halloween party in the articles and no one knew if there was going to be one. ` MARC• No report. Special Committee Reports: No meeting was held.
