'1 "1 <br />~.G.~ <br />COUNCIL BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />September 27, 1977 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session as .a Board <br />of Appeals at the Village Hall on Tuesday, September 27, 1977 at <br />8:~~ P.M. pursuant to a Special Meeting notice delivered to Council <br />on September 26;.~~19.7~7:~=-•=Council President, Robert Grogan presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barcl•~y, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, <br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />Absent: None <br />Also present were: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Hovancsek and Relic. <br />Mr. Grogan .stated this meeting was held for .the puz~pose of consideration <br />of the two variances (1) Parking Spaces (2) Side line on the North side <br />for Heinen's, Inc. <br />OPEN PORTION: ' <br />Mr. Grogan said that Mr. Heinen had requested that resolution be made on <br />this by October 31, 1977 <br />Reverend Huffman, 6602 Wilson Mills Road .,said he and the Administrative <br />Board of the Methodist Church had agreed to grant the use of 30 parking <br />spaces to Heirien's, Inc. provided the easement between the two Parson- <br />ages be vacated. <br />Mr. Grogan said the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to Council <br />to grant the variances. <br />Mr. Amendola explained the Heinen Building had. 31,807 square feet which <br />would necessitate 318 parking spaces. They have 252 on their. own, 30 <br />granted from the church, therefore, needing a 36 parking variance. <br />Nir. Ned Season, .865-; S,.,O,.M.. .Center. said he was _in favor of Heinen's coming <br />in arid' felt i.t would be•~the~• best of any possible business the Village <br />could. ge.t. He was in favor of the .variance., <br />Mrs. Marie Cover, 6498 Chase Drive, asked if the 30 spaces were being <br />traded for the easement. meaning no excess to Wilson Mills Road, then <br />Plan A is the only acceptable Plan. <br />Mr. Schulte said Heinen's at no time. wanted ingress and egress on Wilson <br />Mills, the only decision to be made tonight was the variances. <br />Mr. Martin Sanders, .6490 Chase Dr., said he felt the decision tonight <br />
