Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved In answer to Mr. Grogan's question regarding acceptance of Council acting as Board of Appeals minutes, Mr. Avery stated that the minutes can be acted on at a Regular Council Meeting. Therefore, minutes of the Board of Appeals meetings will be approved at the December meeting. MAYOR'S COMMENTS: Mayor Beebe wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and also con- gratulated the newly elected Council people.' He also wished to thank the residents for voting on the issue to keep Mayfield Village residential. Mayor Beebe welcomed Mr. Guerin Avery as the new Law Director. The Mayor introduced the following six new appointed Volunteer Firefighters. Douglas Balzano Daryl Scott Robert Posatiere Jim Plastine Gary Primozich David Mohr They were sworn in by Mr. Avery. COUNCIL PRESIDENT' S CONL`~tENTS Mr. Grogan congratulated the newly elected Council people. He suggested that they be sworn in as early as possible. Mr. Grogan commented on vandalism on Halloween night. He re- quested a report as to how many juveniles were warned, ticketed or returned to the custody of their parents for vandalism on Halloween. Mayor Beebe had been in touch with the Police Department on Hallo- ween and as a whole the Village was rather quiet. He will check and advise Council. STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: Budget & Appropriations - The committee recommends payment of Mr. I-Iaffey's legal fee. An ordinance is not required. Public Safet -The Mutual Aid Agreement with ~~Tilloughby Hills wi be considered at the next meeting. A taping system for re- ceiving of fire alarm calls was suggested. In the past couple of weeks, two fire false alarms were called in.
