Motion Carried Minutes Approved MAYOR'S COMMENTS: The Mayor Wished everyone a Merry Christmas and A Happy. New Year. _ He thanked Mr. Amendola and his staff for doing an outstanding job in the decorating of the Village Hall. He also thanked the Recreation Commission for a successful Santa Claus parade and party held Dec. 18 for resident children. Mayor Beebe -advised Council of the. hospitalization of Dorothy Howes, Chief Shortle's secretary. He said apparently all the lectures and instructions of snow removal by snow plowers was not successful since most were still pushing snow into the streets. With the thaw of the snow flooding problems were ex- perienced. He asked that all articles for the Voice. of the Village be turned in as soon as possible. Mayor Beebe introduced the following appointees and each were sworn in by the Mayor. Donald Porter - Full Time Firefighter Class C Dorothy Goldstein - Clerk Dispatcher Karl Strasser, Jr. - Auxiliary Policeman Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the ` minutes of the October 25, 1977 Council - Board of Appeals meeting.
