~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />March 20, 1978 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on <br />Monday, March 20, 1978 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President, Vince Busaspresided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Boger, Bordonaro,~Busa, Flynn, Grogan <br />and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent: Mr. Bennett <br />Also Present were: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Avery, Relic, <br />Chief Hejcl and Mrs. Maynard <br />OPEN PORTION: <br />Michael Bordonaro, 6843 Metro Park Drive, stated that the road barri- <br />cade on Zorn Lane going into Aintree North was down and when riding his <br />bike in the area these barricades caused him to wreck. Not only is it <br />hazard to him but also to motorist, especially at n~~ht. He was speaking <br />for Mrs. Yockey also and asked if~this could be fixed. <br />Mayor. Beebe asked Mr. Amendola to please check into the problem. <br />There being no further comments, that portion of the meeting closed. <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to approve the minutes <br />of February 20, 1978 as amended. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS: <br />Mayor, Beebe commented he was sorry to hear of fhe death of Steve Hovan- <br />csek's father and asked Council to consider sending flowers to express <br />their sympthay. <br />Mayor Beebe said he would like Council to consider approval of a $400.00 <br />expenditure for the Village's Fourth of July celebration which would be <br />in conjunction with the Recreation's activities. He said he had discussed <br />this with Mr. Relic prior to the meet~~ng and the funds were available. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that he was disgusted with the way in which the Village <br />was being rejected for reimbursement of expenses incurred during the snow <br />
