~~ <br />vJ <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to proceed with <br />the Advebtising for Bids. <br />Mr. Boger stated the words General Motors should be stricken from the <br />Specs. <br />Council agreed. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Striping of Streets: <br />Mr. Amendola stated that he had received a price from last year's con- <br />tractor for $2,054.00 before he kneww advertisement for bids was going <br />to be required. <br />Mr. Avery suggested it might be advantages for Mayfield Village to go <br />piggyback with the Mayfield Heights contract. <br />Mr. Busa said that if bids are obtained, prices could be compared. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to proceed with the <br />Advertising for Bids. <br />Mr. Amendola commented that the footage of the County Roads would have <br />to be tied-in. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Disaster Service Cooperative Agreement <br />Mayor Beebe commented he had asked Chief Shortle on March 17th for his <br />opinion.and he suggested the $46.;00 is not a great deal to spend for the <br />benefit if the need arises, it was his opinion that a lot of money could <br />be spent on things that never would benefit the Village. <br />Chief Hejcl commented other areas have the disaster plan. He said this <br />would give the community the opportunity to purchase surplus government <br />equipment. <br />The subject was referred to the Public Safety Committee for further review <br />and recommendations. <br />Aintree Park :Drive: <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made the motion to authorize the <br />Village Engineer, Stephen Hovancsek, to proceed with the drawings for the <br />widening of Aintree Park Drive subject to further discussion with Steve. <br />Roll Call: AYES: ALL <br />NAYS: None Motion-.Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />
