'1~~+ <br />Mr. Buses expressed Council's appreciation for this generous gift. <br />No Turn On RED Sign: Council discussed the danger of the motorists <br />being able to turn right on red at ;the intersection of Wilson Mills <br />and SOM and Mr. Avery was to confer with Chief Shortle and draw up <br />proper legislation for passage at the next meeting. <br />Resolution 78-12, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO CANCELLATION <br />OF ROAD MAINTENANCE .SERVICES BY THE COUNTY ENGINEER OF CUYAHOGA QOUNTY <br />AND SEEKING RELIEF", was introduced by Council as a Whole <br />Mr. Avery read Resolution 78-12. <br />Mr. Buses asked the news media for elaborate coverage concerning this <br />Resolution due to the unfairness of the Village having this responsibility <br />pushed on them by the County. He added the Village does not have the <br />monies available for this expense. <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to adopt Resolution <br />78-12. <br />Mayor Beebe said he had received correspondence on the possibility of the <br />$5.00 Licensed Fee bing changed to $25000, perhaps this was their solution. <br />Mr. Flynn commented the Village was receiving no benefits as there are no <br />bridges to be maintained. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Payment Request by Joe Wiece: <br />Council discussed favorablyythe payment to Mr. Wiece and his wife for <br />back wages for radio dispatching. <br />Mr. Avery said no action could be taken with out proper legislation and <br />as soon as he receives recommendation and proper forms from Colui~ibus, <br />action will be taken; perhaps a Special Meeting will need to be held. <br />Mayor Beebe commented he would get in touch with Mr. Wiece to assure <br />him Council will be taking action as soon asppossible. <br />Fire Department Vehicle: <br />Mr. Flynn stated he had a thorough discussion on the specs with Chief <br />Hejcl and he felt everything was in order. <br />There was a discussion on the wording and the possibility that the appro- <br />priated $25,000.00 would not cover the equipment listed. <br />Chief Hejcl said this vehicle would be replacing two - the Van and <br />the 1957 Pumper and expressed his belief that the $25,000.00 was realis b <br />but it could be some what higher. <br />
