r,. 1 ) ~. <br />Mayor Beebe asked if the Fire Department would be assisting in the <br />Fourth of July celebration and Chief Hejcl agreed. <br />COUNCIL• <br />Mr. Bordonaro stated that in the P &BZ Minutes of April 10th the <br />Law Director stated the Tennis Club was a mistake and asked that <br />he reconsider his statement. He also commented that as of 1935 <br />there were 36 veterans buried in the Mayfield Union Cemetery and <br />to date there is brobably over 100. He also questioned what de- <br />termined the location for all the SPAN equipment? <br />Chief Shortle replyed that it was determined by the most qualified <br />operators of the particular piece of equipment. <br />Mr. Boger commented that last year Meadowood and Eastgate had been <br />paved and they are already cracking. He hoped this is not a sample <br />of how the Village Parking Lot will be. <br />An investigation was to be made on the conditions of these streets. <br />Mr. Bennett expressed his regrets that Chief Shortle was leaving. <br />Mr. Grogan requested that Council's input be considered before the <br />items for the Ballot was completed.
