~~~ Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None ,Motion Carried Authorization Given Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made the motion to recess the meeting. Rol]_ Call : AYES : All NAYS: None Motion Carried Meeting recessed at 11:15 P.M. to reconvene at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 27, 1978. Meeting reconvened at 8:10 P.M., Tuesday, June 27, 1978. Mr. Busa asked Mr. Feneli to read Ordinance 78-30 introduced by Mr. Bennett. Mr. Feneli read Ordinance 78-30, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE CARS ON A NON-_COMPETITIVE BASIS", and stated that there would be five votes required for passage. Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made the motion that Council pass Ordinance 78-30. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Boger, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Mrs. Hanus NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Mr. Grogan, on behalf of all members of Council, thanked Mr. Bennett for carrying through and looking into the availabl.ty of cars more to the lika~a.ggof the Police Depart. and in keeping with the required specifications. Mr. Boger suggested that in the future advertising be placed earlier and in other, more circulated, publications. Mr. Busa stated that it was gratifying to know that we do have those mem- bers of Council that will continue to~carry their jobs to the extent of obtaining further information for the rest of the members.
