Tuesday, <br />June 27, 1978. <br />Meeting reconvened at 8:10 P.M., Tuesday, June 27, 1978. <br />Mr. Busa asked Mr. Feneli to read Ordinance 78-30 introduced by <br />Mr. Bennett. <br />Mr. Feneli read Ordinance 78-30, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE CARS ON A NON-_COMPETITIVE BASIS", <br />and stated that there would be five votes required for passage. <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made the motion that Council <br />pass Ordinance 78-30. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Boger, Busa, Flynn, Grogan <br />and Mrs. Hanus <br />NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Grogan, on behalf of all members of Council, thanked Mr. Bennett <br />for carrying through and looking into the availabl.ty of cars more <br />to the lika~a.ggof the Police Depart. and in keeping with the required <br />specifications. Mr. Boger suggested that in the future advertising <br />be placed earlier and in other, more circulated, publications.
