Mr. Relic commented on a job well done re the <br />last article she had written on the Finance Department. <br />Mr. Busa confirmed the "Municipal Center Committee" as suggested by <br />the Public Safety Committee. Mr. Flynn urged the Committee to schedule <br />a meeting as soon as possible. Mr. Relic wondered if Mr. Amendola <br />could come up with recommendations and perhaps an agenda to follow. <br />There was a discussion with Mr. Amendola to coordinateethe input from <br />the different departments and submit it to the committee. so a meeting <br />could be scheduled.. <br />Oakton Circle Water Drainage - Mr. Amendola stated authority needs to <br />be given to Mr. Hovancsek to draft the easement requirements. There <br />was a discussion on the subject with Mr. Avery's office to advise as <br />previously requested regarding the possible improvement to private <br />property. Material to be available at the next meeting. <br />GENERAL COMMENTS: <br />Mayor Beebe - stated.Mr. Amendola had informed him re distruction of <br />the barricades at the Beech Hill Foot Bridge and had asked A/C Litman <br />to take pictures - Chief Litman confirmed the distruction.eMayor Beebe <br />said he had sent notice to all concerned residents re bids for the bridge. <br />Mr. Relic notified Council he would be attending a meeting of the Board <br />of Commissioners on the 24th at 2:00 and the Certificate of Resources <br />would be discussed. The Dept. Heads to submit their '79 Budget needs. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated he had submitted the Hydrant easement format <br />for Aintree Park Dr. to Mr. .Avery and hoped for legislation by 8/29/78,: <br />Mr. Amendola stated that one item discussed at the P.& Z Meeting was <br />the type of buildings Council would be recommending for balance of Beta <br />Dr. Council held a discussion on their authority to make this decision. <br />Mr. Amendola stated that Council passed an ordinance in re to this and <br />further development could not be permitted until Couizcil indicated their <br />choice to the Planning Commission. Mr. Avery to prepare a memorandum. <br />Mr. Busa referred to letter from Mr. Stackhouse asking for input on the <br />Village's bridge & road needs. Discussion was held with Mr. Hovancsek <br />to supply the Mayor with our priority list so he could write Mr. Stackhouse <br />Discussion held on the design and construction_of seweraimprovements - <br />Mr. Avery to prepare formal legislation for the next meeting. <br />Mr. Avery's .office to furnish more information re insurance coverage. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated a meeting will be held this week with the A.N. De- <br />velopers to finaJ.ize Phase I (soil remo~r.al a contingency). <br />Meeting went into executive session at 9:50 P.M. and reconvened at <br />10.:20.P.M. ~~or ~~~ <br />Mayor. Beebe read a letter he had received from Mr. Ben Reich stating <br />he was resigning from the Civil Service Commission dated August 16, <br />1978. <br />
