~~~~f~ <br />u ~ J <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Ord.78-39. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: Norte <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />It was estimated the sign would be replaced within two weeks. <br />Ordinance 78-40, entitled: !'AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />331.17 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO THE RIGHT OF WAY FOR <br />VEHICLES MAKING LEFT HAND TURNS", Introduced by Mr. Bennett - Second <br />Reading <br />Mr. Bennett, questioned the need for this ordinance and Mr. Avery <br />stated that it was to comply with code which authorized local author- <br />ities to collect the funds rather than the State. <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motz.on to pass Ord. 78-40. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance 78-41, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />FOR THE, PAVING OF STREETS", introduced by Mr. Bennett - Second Reading <br />Mr. Grogan stated the residents on Kenwood were anxious for this work <br />to be done. <br />Mr. Amendola stated the contract was awarded to Calabrese Cement Con- <br />tractor (Aldo) in the amount of $24,700.34 for the repair of Kenwood, <br />Walnut, Butternut and Oakwood. <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: NONE Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made!a motion to pass Ord. 78-41. <br />Roll Call: AYES:' All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />
