FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SNOW BLOWER", introduced by Mr. Bennett - Second Reading. Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separ- ate occasions. Roll Call: AYES~s, All T1AYS : None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Ord. 78-37. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Mr. Amendola requested a signed copy. Ordinance 78-38, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 545.04 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO DETEN- TION OF SHOPLIFTE3.2S", introduced by Mr. Bennett - Second Reading. Mr. Avery commented that this Ordinance was in effect for the benefit of librarians who in the past were unable to detain thieves until the .Police arrived.
