Mr. Strasser took college courses on his own time and at his own expense. He asked Chief Hejcl to relate the message of appreciation to Mr. Strasser. Mr. Busa questioned the Echo Drive Ditch situation. Mr. Hovancsek said there is erosion on the north side of Echo Drive. Mr. DeMarco is concerned and would like the Village to review the erosion in the ditch. The increased water pressure from the improved ditch on Echo Drive is causing the erosion." Mr. Fene.li stated this is pri- vate property and he would get with Mr. Avery and prepare a memor- andum regarding the matter of liability. • Mr. Busa read a letter written for him byMr. Amendola regarding Council's recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission for more building of businesses that is the most tax beneficial (more employees, less warehouses) on Beta Drive. Mr. Boger questioned the authority of Council to control the building of warehouses. Mr. Busa replied that to a degree it could be controlled with the context of the present zoning. Mr. Busa to sign th.e letter and copies to be circulated to-Council. GGENERAL COMMENTS: Finance Director - Mr. Relic stated that the Village had borrowed $75,000. to purchase the Myotte property, for one year. He was planning to pay the loan off before the end of the year. Law Director - Mr. Feneli commented that Mr. Longley has filed for a hearing for this Tuesday morning. This is prior steps to be taken before going to the Court of Appeals. October 13th Don Ray Products is to come before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Service Director - Mr. Foltz stated that presently there is in- sufficient housing for one of the Service trucks. Mr. Grogan - stated that he would like it to be noted on the records that this is the third or fourth time without our regular appointed Law Director, Guerin Avery. He had agreed to be in attendance at our meetings. Mr. Bordonaro complimented the residents for staying throughout the meeting. Mr. Busa said he was sorry for the reason the residents were present but also glad they stayed to see how the Village business is conducted. An Executive Session was called at 10:35 P.M.
