24~ NEW BUSINESS_ .. Resolution 78-43, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHOR- IZING THE GRANTING OF AN EASEMENT TO THE CIY'I' OF CLEVELAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A FIRE HYDRANT IN THE RIGHT- OF - WAY OF AINTREE PARK DRIVE. . Disscussion was held with Mr. Avery to amend the resolution and have it available for passage at the meeting on the 26th. Resolution 78-44, entitled: "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING UNIFORM RULES, REGULATIONS AND .S.TANDARDS FOR THE DESIGN AND CON- STRUCTION OF SEWERAGE IMPROVEMENTS", introduced by Council as a Whole. Mr. Hovancsek stated that for the past several years it has .been a desire to have all communities working under the same regula- tions. The,. surrounding communities are adopting the same resolution. Mr. Bordon.aro;~-s~e.conded`by-Mr.- Boger, made the motion to pass Reso- lution 78-44. Roll Call: -AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Passed Ordinance 78-45, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE'ESTABLISHINGoTHE AUTHOR- IZED COMPLEMENT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT." An Executive Session is scheduled for Monday, September 25th, at 8:00 P.M. for discussion of matters relating to Ordinance 78=45. Mr.. Grogan ,requested from Acting Chief Litman a list of employees in the Police Department, when they came on duty and what their duties entailed, including the female employees. Mr. Busa requested members of Council to attend the closed Execu- tive Session on the 25th. Acting Chief Litman is to have_the list for delivery in Council's packets Friday. Mr. Grogan said he would like Ordinance 78-45 tabled pending discussion on the 25th. Resolution 78-46; entitled: "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OHIO DE- PARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES ~`O STUDY THE CHAGRIN RIVER FOR DESIG- NATION AS'A WILD OR SCENIC RIVER AND DECLARING INTENT TO COOPERATE WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND UNIT5 OF GOVERNMENT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RIVER ASSISTANCE MANUAL." Introduced by Council as a Whole. Mr. Hovancsek commented -that Mr. Mike Italiano had presented infor- mation to Council at a Caucus regarding this and he felt it would help our needs. Mr. Boger urged passage. as it may be a source to get them involved with our sewage problem. ~ ~. Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to pass Res. 78-46. Roll Call: AYES: All" .. NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Passed Mr. Busa stated he had asked the Law Director to prepare an ordinance on the transmitting of Nuclear Waste through the Village of Mayfield.
