Mr. Grogan said we should <br />have the legal department 'inform Mr: Fiordalisi.to remove the ties. <br />Mr. Hovancsek suggested we write Mr. Fiordalisi requesting that <br />he .submit a grade plan for this area. , <br />Residents involved to receive a copy .of this letter. Open Portion <br />of,the meeting closed.. <br />Mr: Busa requested a recess at 9:20 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:40 P.M. <br />Hanover Woods - A boundary adjustment would have to be negotiated <br />with .Gates Mills in reference to .the fire protection in the area. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned the work the Countythas been doing in the past ; <br />two days on Wilson_Mills. Mr. Amendola stated the ditches were silted <br />in during the pas t, storm and the County is;clearing them out and they <br />are also having to rebuild parts of the berm. <br />Ordinance 78-45, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE AUTHORIZED <br />COMPLEMENT OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT." <br />Mayor Beebe asked that the Law Director rephrase the wording of the <br />ordinance. Mr. Bennett objected to the fact .that this ordinance would <br />force the hiring of a replacement for anyone that might..quitein the <br />Police .Department. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that the purpose of the"Ordinance was to establish <br />the needed amount of men in the Police Force required to serve .the <br />community. Once-this number is established, the replacement of the <br />man power would be simplified by adopting this ordinance. In other <br />words, legislation would not have to be prepared for-every replacement. <br />Ordinance to be amended. <br />Resolution 78-43, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />GRANTING OF AN EASEMENT TO~THE CITY OF CLEVELAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A FIRE HYDRANT IN THE RIGHT-OF- WAY <br />OF AINTREE PARK DRIVE." <br />Mr. Feneli made reference to Mr. Avery's letter of September 21st <br />suggesting the Resolution be reworked and it would be of benefit to <br />.wait and see what happened with the Cleveland Water Suit. Mayor <br />Beebe-agreed. Resolution to have further review. <br />Service Department Truck Procurement - Dine to the time element in= <br />volved in advertising for bids, Mr. Amendola solicited bids for a <br />2 ton truck and 2 plows in an informal manner. Mr. Amendola gave the <br />sealed bids to Mr. Feneli. <br />Mr. Avery entered at-this time, 9:50 P.M. and suggested that this <br />Matter be considered now as,,the ordering process is slow. Action <br />could be ratified„by„ordinance at the next meetig:g. <br />There was a discussion with all Council members present in agreement <br />
